All the tour programs on the itinerary
are covered by your tour package.
However, you may pick one of the
following optional programs, with
additional charges.
1. Hutong Tour in Beijing
(USD
$35.00 per person)
Hutong is a traditional living area for
ordinary Beijing citizens, the history
of which dates back to 1,000 years ago.
Hundreds of thousands of houses of
traditional architecture style are
densely flanked on both sides of narrow
and zigzag streets in which people have
been living a peaceful and traditional
life through many generations. You will
first get on a traditional rickshaw, two
for each, riding through those narrow
streets tracing the taste of the
historical life of an oriental country.
Afterwards, you will visit local
families interviewing their life and
cooking Chinese dumplings with the
family members. During lunch time, you
will be served delicious Chinese
domestic dishes and the dumplings you
made. During the two hour Hutong Tour,
you will learn a lot of China’s modern
life and its people. It is another
highlight after the Great Wall.
2. Long Qing Xia Cruise
(Only
Available during Summer Educational
Trips)
Long Qing Xia is the Mini-Three Gorges
of China to a lot of people. It is a
deep valley, located 35 miles west of
the Great Wall. The two hour cruise here
is the highlight of any trip.
3. Acrobatic show in Beijing
(Covered
by the Package)
Beijing acrobatic troupe is a first
class performance in China. Some of the
performances of which have been awarded
with gold medals from time to time
through the International Acrobatic
Competition. An annual one fifth of its
performances are made abroad.
4. Peking Opera
(USD $20.00 per
person, USD $40.00 per person for VIP
seating)
Peking Opera is the masterpiece of
China’s traditional culture and art and
it is born in Beijing. Today it is more
than three hundreds years old. The Opera
lasts an hour and thirty minutes,
covering several different plays, of
which some are full of fighting and some
traditional singing and dancing. The
show is beautiful for its colorful
costumes, impressive facial designs and
staging style of oriental culture.
5. Boat ride on Grand Canal in
Suzhou
(USD $25.00 per person)
Grand Canal is a pure artificial object
completed 1,300 years ago by Chinese
people. It starts from Beijing and ends
up in Hangzhou with a total length of
more than 1,000 miles. During the 50
minute boat ride, tourists may enjoy the
view of both modern and old life of
Suzhou.
6. Ancient City of Song Dynasty
in Hangzhou
(USD $25.00 per person)
In order to film the famous store “Three
Kingdom,” the city was built 10 years
ago. Besides its gorgeous decorations
and its huge size, the highlight is the
Grand Dynasty Show, given by hundreds of
performers in traditional dress and
singing and dancing style. The stay in
there will turn out to be a great
enjoyment of Traditional Chinese
Culture.
7. Evening Cruise on Huangpu
River
(USD $25.00 per person)
The cruise will absolutely build in
everyone an unforgettable impression of
Grand Shanghai! The evening view of
Shanghai from the cruise is gorgeous,
charming and unbeatable.
